On 8th March next, the song "Muchacho (for Jano)" was released. The is a re-arranged and re-recorded version of the Song Muchacho that was released on the "Where I'm From" album in 2022, and is tributed to Alejandro, a dear friend who passed away last summer.

About
Padraig McManamon is an Irish musician, singer, and songwriter currently living in Hessen, Germany. At the age of 47 (over six years ago) he decided to get back into music which was absent from his life for nearly 20 years. With a passion for rhythm and melodies, he has devoted the last few years to creating captivating music that resonates with listeners both live and on stream.
Through his unique and authentic voice and skillful songwriting, Padraig enchants audiences, delving into various genres and crafting unforgettable tunes. As an accomplished musician, he continues to inspire and express his artistic vision through his evolving musical journey.
Padraig released his Debut Album “Where I’m From” in February 2022 and his second studio recording, the EP “Out of This Mess” in June of this year. The songs on the EP and his Debut Album (last year) are all personal and „me“ as he says. With the exception of two covers on the EP and one of the Songs on the Debut album, all songs were written by Padraig (words, music, arrangement).
A further release is planned for October of this year.

Debut Album 'Where I'm From'
A childhold dream come true! After finally getting back into music the debut Album was released on 18th February 2022. Eight of original songs plus one further song from Padraig's good friend Oliver Jost who has accompanied him over the last few years. It has been an exciting time, not only discovering his ability to write damn good songs, but the whole process behind putting an Album together, and then seeing and hearing peoples reactions to the songs.

The Video to the titel song is can be viewed here. It's a compilation of fabulous photography and video clips of the Erris region in Co. Mayo in the west of Ireland. We guarantee, you'll love it. The photos were taken by the Belmullet photographer Brian Wilson.

December 2022 saw the set up of our official Band - Padraig McManamon and Band.
Accompanying Padraig are:
Oliver Jost on Bass Guitar. Oliver is a native of Langen. Since his early childhood he was an advocate accordeon player. Approximately 15 years ago he then discovered his new passion, Bass Guitar. Since then he has been in various bands, including his long time band Betty O Beat from Frankfurt, to which Oliver introduced Padraig some time ago. Padraig and Oliver are playing together since 2016.
Martin Delto is guitarist and violinist from Obertshausen and enjoys playing in various music directions - whether rock or Jazz, he plays with his heart and soul!
Frank Vieweger joined us as our drummer / percussionist in December 2022 and made his first appearance with us in the Goldene Krone in Darmstadt on 18th March 2023.
